A Butterfly

warm and safe in my cocoon
but I can feel it will be ending soon
I know I've changed though it doesn't yet show
inside is where we start to grow

unfold my wings and let them dry
I'll stop at flowers along the way

I started out just munching leaves
one day it was time to hang underneath
the transformation had already begun
